The above penalty notice is issued for the following reasons:

1. The parking of vehicles other than motor cars, motor cycles, invalid carriages or motor vehicles not exceeding 30cwts unladen weight.
2. Vehicles not parked wholly within a single marked parking bay.
3. Drivers conducting any sale or auction from the vehicle or hiring his or her services.
4. Vehicles waiting in the car park other than within a defined bay.
5. Drivers causing a disturbance or annoyance to other drivers or to any adjoining property owners.
6. Drivers using any abusive or offensive language or gestures or behaving in a threatening manner.
7. Vehicles used for overnight sleeping or for camping or cooking and the servicing or washing of vehicles.

On receipt of the above Penalty Notice, you must write to East Lindsey District Council, Car Parking Section, Town Hall, North Parade, Skegness, Lincolnshire, PE25 1DA, explaining what lead to you parking in contravention of the Car Parking Regulations.  On your letter please quote the Penalty Notice reference number and your contact address details.

Upon receipt of your written correspondence, it will be presented to Management, where a decision will be made. You will be advised in writing of the decision, and an explanation of possible legal action that may be taken against you (eg amount of fine).
