…we cannot afford to buy… more should be done for the homeless …. there’s no affordable homes in our village …there should be more homes for people with special needs…finding uses for empty homes is vital…. make homes warmer and running costs cheaper……

The Housing Strategy defines our housing priorities for the next 5 years and includes a targeted action plan defining what we aim to achieve over the first half of this period.
It should reflect local, regional and national housing needs and related issues. An important aspect of this is ensuring the document is exposed to a wide consultation with partners, tenants, residents and organizations. Therefore we would like your views and comments on the documents.
Our Housing Strategy 2005-2010 comprises of four documents:
- The Main Housing Strategy 2005-2010 defines our housing priorities for the next 5 years and includes a targeted action plan defining what we aim to achieve over the first half of this period.
- The Special Needs and Specific Groups Supplement, which looks at the issue facing those with special or specific needs, for example young people and those with physical disabilities
- The Housing Needs in East Lindsey supplement examines in detail the housing and related issues facing East Lindsey.
- The Executive Summary
Unfortunately it is too late to have your comments included in this Housing Strategy document, but you can still contact us with your thoughts and comments and if you would like to discuss any matters raised in the strategy please contact a member of the team
