How to Register

Registration Form - (Annual Canvass)

Registration Forms are delivered throughout the District during mid August each year. When you receive your form, you will see that it shows the names of electors currently registered at your address.

If the information is correct, simply sign and date the form , and post it back to Tedder Hall. If there are new persons to be added, or any deletions or alterations, then make sure you read the notes carefully. Make the alterations, sign and date the form, and post back to Tedder Hall.

Include young persons who will become 18 shortly.

If you are sure that the elector details will not change before 15 October, there is no need to wait until that date - you can complete the form and return it as soon as you receive it.

Once the information is returned it is collated to publish the final Register on 1 December.

If you have not received a registration form, contact (01507) 329403 or Email elections@e-lindsey.gov.uk

Rolling Registration

In February 2001, the Government introduced new legislation which enables people to amend their details on the Register of Electors when they move house instead of waiting until October each year.

If you have recently moved house or your name does not appear on the Register of Electors, then please complete the Application to be Registered Form (Not available Sept - Nov), and return by post to the Electoral Registration Officer for processing (a separate form needs to be completed for each person who wishes to be registered)

If you have recently married or your name does not appear correct on the Register you will need to complete the Amendment to Register form (Not available Sept - Nov) , and return by post to the Electoral Registration Officer.

Rolling Registration is suspended during the period of the Annual Canvass (September - November)
