You should contact us as soon as you think you're going to have a problem paying your bill.
We may be able to reduce what you have to pay; for example, you may qualify for a discount you didn't know about or you might qualify for Council Tax Benefit. We may also be able to agree a different timetable for making payments.
If we don’t know you're having problems paying, we will continue with recovery action and you could end up having to pay a lot more.
