We measure our performance through the following methods:
National Performance Indicators
Our performance is measured each year against a range of performance indicators set by Government. Performance against these indicators is published in our Delivery Plan which is available on this page
The Government uses the data from these indicators to compare us with other Councils
Locally set Indicators
For services that do not have national performance indicators we use internal performance indicators to measure performance
Benchmarking
This is the process of comparing our performance and services offered against other Councils and look to learn and improve from the best performing councils.
Value For Money
An extension of benchmarking where we compare the quality and cost of the services we provide as we look to provide the best possible service from the monies we have available
