In March 2007 we conducted a self-assessment, which signified that we had reached Level 2 of the Equality Standard for Local Government. Since then we have been reviewed by an external assessor who has confirmed that we have achieved this level.
In autumn 2007 we created an action plan for our achievement of Level 3. We aim to be at a Level 3 standard by March 2009; details of the plan can be found at the link below.
