INFORMATION ON HOW TO OBTAIN A COMPETITIVE BIDDING LICENCE (AUCTIONS)

A Competitive Bidding Licence may be required under the East Lindsey District Council Act 1982, if you are carrying out Auctions.

Application forms are available from the Council Offices and must be accompanied by the current fee for a 5-year licence.

Once the application is received consultation will be carried out Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Fire Brigade and the Council’s Environmental Services Team.

If the proceeds of the Auction are wholly or mainly for a voluntary organisation or charity then a licence is not required.
